Laurence Soens kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Humberto Jonge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Benefica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silver Squad AFC the free kick. Silver Squad AFC's Mattijs Kloots was substituted for Benjamin Carberry. In the 9th minute, Humberto Jonge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Silver Squad AFC's Rogério Paiva seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rogério Paiva the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Silver Squad AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rogério Paiva had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Silver Squad AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Benefica:s goal. Waud De Geyter had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Leandro Soares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waud De Geyter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Waud De Geyter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Soares's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. If Leandro Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Waud De Geyter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Damien Bakker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattijs Kloots did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Taco Uebels 30 minutes into the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Silver Squad AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leandro Soares was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Benefica's players had a chance to rest. Leandro Soares made a great header on Fc Benefica's corner, it was just that Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 42nd minute Mattijs Kloots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Uebels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 45th minute of play. Bror Litenboks hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Loid De Keuster came free, but Taco Uebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Gilmar Maranhense got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Leandro Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Benefica's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waud De Geyter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Wilmink hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Taco Uebels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattijs Kloots, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Taco Uebels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattijs Kloots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waud De Geyter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Waud De Geyter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Taco Uebels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Loid De Keuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Uebels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Soares. Mattijs Kloots struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Taco Uebels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silver Squad AFC. Waud De Geyter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Soares in the 91st minute. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Eduard Gryshko hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Izydor Czysta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taco Uebels skillfully saved the ball. The Silver Squad AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fc Benefica's performance. The match ended with a win for Fc Benefica.
