Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián Espadas in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Geyter saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Soroca F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrián Espadas got free with Waud De Geyter in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Romulo Thomas replaced Gustavo Tartalo. Binjamin Fabry made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Damazy Radzyminski immediately put the ball in play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
