Ksawery Gongola started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Leandro Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu came out of the goal and Leandro Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Ksawery Gongola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Taco Uebels. Ksawery Gongola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 12th minute of play. Leon Craandijk kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carel Huiting to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FFC Merainies 03 defense, Leandro Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. The FFC Merainies 03 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu should have stopped the shot. Taco Uebels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Gongola, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. David Wilmink hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes Fc Benefica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jörgen Kjellqvist who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jörgen Kjellqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Taco Uebels quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When FFC Merainies 03's Ksawery Gongola in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Benefica's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ksawery Gongola in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taco Uebels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FFC Merainies 03 fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when FFC Merainies 03's Ksawery Gongola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Leandro Soares made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Leon Craandijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Uebels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Renzi made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bruno Marceau. FFC Merainies 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pepijn Hummel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fc Benefica made a substitution. Hugo Andriessen replaced Humberto Jonge. FFC Merainies 03's Gertjan Engbers was substituted for Jörgen Kjellqvist. Angelo Renzi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Angelo Renzi hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Leandro Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Taco Uebels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Job Gasteren's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Esteban Sugoi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Benefica's Jens van Basten quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 94th match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Craandijk to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Angelo Renzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FFC Merainies 03 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
