Ulises Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Soares in the 11th minute. Robertinho Carabajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Taco Uebels having to make a save. Taco Uebels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robertinho Carabajal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Wilmink in the 18th minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Fc Benefica's David Wilmink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Urtsua Macías threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Benefica's David Wilmink quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joseph Smits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Taco Uebels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Robertinho Carabajal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Uebels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Robertinho Carabajal put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Taco Uebels. 46 minutes in the game Daevy Blaine did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Urtsua Macías. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The corner ended in Tang Di Nan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels did a great save. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Robertinho Carabajal sped through Fc Benefica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Taco Uebels. David Wilmink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ulises Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robertinho Carabajal in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taco Uebels saved Fc Benefica from getting behind. Ulises Steven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Soares's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Smits in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Robertinho Carabajal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taco Uebels. Fc Benefica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robertinho Carabajal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Fc Benefica made a substitution. Hugo Andriessen replaced Humberto Jonge. AFC Koolkerke's Tang Di Nan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ture Asklöv in the 83 minute of the game. Taco Uebels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Smits, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Joseph Smits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's Joseph Smits sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taco Uebels narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, AFC Koolkerke's Joseph Smits ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Taco Uebels. Taco Uebels yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After 92 minutes of play, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Steven was left in no man's land by his defense there! The AFC Koolkerke players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
