In the 9th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Kjellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute, William Westelinx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harvey Davies. The goal made the score 1-0. After 29 minutes FC Ouagadougou National's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marick Brunt who took care of the corner kick. In the 34th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Westelinx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harvey Davies having to make a save. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 39th minute of play. William Westelinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shaq Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. German Bernebe made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by William Westelinx. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Kjellman was the one to do the kick off. William Westelinx might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harvey Davies. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joop Bakker replaced Shaq Francis. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, William Westelinx put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Harvey Davies. FC Ouagadougou National were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after FC Bal op het Dak's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Riemer Ax took the corner. Artur Mendes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rene Vereijt came out and tried to block the shot, but Artur Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute Sean Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joop Bakker got free with Rene Vereijt in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Ouagadougou National could leave the field as winners, despite FC Bal op het Dak having more of the ball for most of the match.
