After 7 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Trevisan. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Reynaldo Tepedino got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Lekubegi in the 13th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silvestre Gumaro fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's protests and gave Silvestre Gumaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Rodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy Duarte in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Morro Grande E.C were awarded a corner. In the 36th minute, Guaberto Lekubegi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Pinho to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Illart came free, but Willian Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ruy Duarte made the kick off in the second half. Elias Kemen kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Maia. Guaberto Lekubegi took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willian Loyola. Willian Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nestor Sol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Willian Loyola skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Cearense to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Guaberto Lekubegi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Morro Grande E.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Guaberto Lekubegi scored to the left of an out of position Willian Loyola, making the score, 1-4. In the 84th minute Guaberto Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Nestor Sol made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Guaberto Lekubegi took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Willian Loyola to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over ARedonditos de Ricota CFK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Morro Grande E.C throughout the match.
