In the 12thth minute of the game Neil Mar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Stadtclub's Jacky Silvestri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacky Silvestri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano de Queiroz in the 13th minute. Jacky Silvestri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Mar in the 14th minute of play. Remo Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jacky Silvestri made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Remo Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jacky Silvestri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neil Mar hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remo Borges was the one to do the kick off. Marzagão's Neil Mar got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Remo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Neil Mar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marzagão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Mar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacky Silvestri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Prado's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Gibson Dürst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Fernandez made a huge save. Jacky Silvestri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Remo Borges hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Neil Mar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marzagão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Mar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Neil Mar came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Marzagão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Mar couldn't finish the play. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Marzagão from getting a goal against them.
