When Key West FC's Calvin Yarbrough in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye K. Beerschot VAC's goalie prevented a goal. Stefan Gunn stood somewhat misplaced when Calvin Yarbrough came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. After 10 minutes, Steven Chadwick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the K. Beerschot VAC and the Key West FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to K. Beerschot VAC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Steven Chadwick hit a great ball. Rodd Soussan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Key West FC's Freddie Moyer got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calvin Yarbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Stefan Gunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the K. Beerschot VAC defense, Jasper Landrum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Gunn. The K. Beerschot VAC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Gunn should have stopped the shot. A collision led to K. Beerschot VAC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Steven Chadwick hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Freddie Moyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Moyer got free with Stefan Gunn in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calvin Yarbrough did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Stefan Gunn 29 minutes into the match. Stefan Gunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Yarbrough in the 33rd minute of play. Calvin Yarbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Stefan Gunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Gunn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calvin Yarbrough in the 36th minute. Roger Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Cadwallader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Stefan Gunn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. K. Beerschot VAC's Rodd Soussan got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Rodd Soussan off the ground. After 42 played minutes K. Beerschot VAC got a freekick which was hit by Rodd Soussan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calvin Yarbrough in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Gunn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Travis Beckwith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calvin Yarbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Stefan Gunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Travis Beckwith stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chris Cadwallader kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rdth minute of the game Calvin Yarbrough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but K. Beerschot VAC's Stefan Gunn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Key West FC booed when K. Beerschot VAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Burkinshaw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matt Mott took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stefan Gunn. K. Beerschot VAC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Calvin Yarbrough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Gunn was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 59 minutes of play, Key West FC's Calvin Yarbrough made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Gunn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Travis Beckwith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Roger Magalhães made a huge save. Stefan Gunn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Yarbrough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Matt Mott suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. K. Beerschot VAC's Steven Chadwick got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Steven Chadwick off the ground. Key West FC's Jacob Tackett was substituted for Matt Mott. Steven Chadwick kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for K. Beerschot VAC! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Key West FC. Monroe Braun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stefan Gunn. 7-0. Key West FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
