Stefan Gunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Hernando in the 2nd minute of play. In the 6th match minute, K. Beerschot VAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Wildman to maneuver through the defense. Gürbüz Tanfer made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Steven Chadwick sent off a good shot on target. Abel Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Gunn having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, C.A.I.'s goalkeeper Gürbüz Tanfer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steven Chadwick. K. Beerschot VAC's Stefan Gunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Hernando in the 23rd minute of play. Gürbüz Tanfer made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Travis Beckwith sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Gunn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Stanislao went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Abel Stanislao struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Stefan Gunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.I.. Saturnino Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Gunn having to interfere. Gürbüz Tanfer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Travis Beckwith in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The C.A.I. fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when C.A.I.'s Abel Stanislao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. C.A.I.'s Gürbüz Tanfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Travis Beckwith in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, C.A.I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Cedro to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes, K. Beerschot VAC's Ryan Wildman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gürbüz Tanfer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in K. Beerschot VAC reached it. In the 65th minute Travis Beckwith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürbüz Tanfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürbüz Tanfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Cadwallader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gürbüz Tanfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Travis Beckwith in the 69th minute of the match. When K. In the 85th minute of the match Zackary Driver shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürbüz Tanfer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Saturnino Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Gunn having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Saturnino Hernando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.I.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Hernando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A.I.'s 董景悦 couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for K. Beerschot VAC. K.
