George Milton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 董景悦, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Cliff Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gürbüz Tanfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Maidana hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes of play, C.A.I.'s 董景悦 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Milton was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28thth minute of the game Cliff Johnson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.I.'s Gürbüz Tanfer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes C.A.I. got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Cedro. Abel Stanislao scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Milton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cliff Johnson might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gürbüz Tanfer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cliff Johnson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Abel Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to C.A.I. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Waldemar Kaczeniak hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Reggina Rangers FC's Hugh Sheene tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gerardo Maidana's late challenge caught a Reggina Rangers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Maidana helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Stanislao in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Milton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jamal Gibson fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reggina Rangers FC's protests and gave Jamal Gibson a yellow card for diving instead. C.A.I.'s Marco Vedillo was substituted for 董景悦. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

George Milton came out of the goal and Marco Vedillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cliff Johnson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gürbüz Tanfer was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Abel Stanislao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marco Vedillo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the C.A.I. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Vedillo couldn't finish the play. C.A.I.'s Abel Stanislao managed to work through Reggina Rangers FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Abel Stanislao dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 88th minute, C.A.I.'s Abel Stanislao ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind George Milton. George Milton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Gürbüz Tanfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Abel Stanislao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Reggina Rangers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A.I. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
