Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cliff Johnson got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Hayles got free with Erwan Vetter in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cliff Johnson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Erwan Vetter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. George Milton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Émilien Reboux, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Teston during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Robert Teston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Milton came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Lyonnais's Émilien Reboux. But to his dismay, Émilien Reboux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Christian Fisher hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Olympique Lyonnais's Samuel Laumond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Milton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Olympique Lyonnais's Rodolphe Boisard got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Reggina Rangers FC's goalkeeper George Milton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Rodolphe Boisard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolphe Boisard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolphe Boisard in the 30th minute of play forced Reggina Rangers FC's goalkeeper George Milton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Rodolphe Boisard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Lyonnais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolphe Boisard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Émilien Reboux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Reggina Rangers FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cliff Johnson hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Olympique Lyonnais got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Laumond. Reggina Rangers FC's attentive Vernon Leslie managed to snatch the ball when Johnny Deyres made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game.

After 53rd play minutes Rodolphe Boisard shot 0-3, a short shot which went by George Milton and just under the crossbar into goal. George Milton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolphe Boisard in the 57th minute of play. Émilien Reboux struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. George Milton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Lyonnais. If Stefan Hayles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Milton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolphe Boisard in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Reggina Rangers FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Stefan Hayles hit a great ball. Olympique Lyonnais's Mathieu Mendy was substituted for Adam Puget. In the 76th minute, Stefan Hayles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes, Olympique Lyonnais's Mathieu Mendy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper George Milton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olympique Lyonnais reached it. In the 79th minute, Christian Fisher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute of the match Samuel Laumond shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Milton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Cliff Johnson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwan Vetter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 85 minutes into the game, Cliff Johnson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Erwan Vetter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stefan Hayles hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
