The supporters of Middlesbrough Ironopolis booed when Athletic Club London FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luke Lockwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, George Halliday notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Athletic Club London FC's Fitz Donnelly. Fitz Donnelly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Grigg in the 9th minute of play forced Middlesbrough Ironopolis's goalkeeper Tyrone Hartshorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyrone Hartshorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devon Potter in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Casey Oliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fitz Donnelly was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Kris Stubbs hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devon Potter in the 20th minute of play forced Middlesbrough Ironopolis's goalkeeper Tyrone Hartshorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casey Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fitz Donnelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tyrone Hartshorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Lockwood in the 26th minute of the match. Nigel Boyes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Stan Myers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Middlesbrough Ironopolis's George Halliday came free and shot a quick shot against goal 32 minutes in the game, fortunately Fitz Donnelly had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Casey Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fitz Donnelly having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Athletic Club London FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Boyes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Sheldon in the 38th minute of play forced Middlesbrough Ironopolis's goalkeeper Tyrone Hartshorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Athletic Club London FC booed when Middlesbrough Ironopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trey Scholey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Athletic Club London FC got a freekick which was hit by Barry Percival. Middlesbrough Ironopolis's Casey Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when George Halliday made the kick off in the second half. Middlesbrough Ironopolis's Tyrone Hartshorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devon Potter in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Middlesbrough Ironopolis's Casey Oliver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fitz Donnelly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Tyrone Hartshorn made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Damon Sheldon sent off a good shot on target. Tyrone Hartshorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Boyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 78th minute, George Halliday hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casey Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Damon Sheldon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tyrone Hartshorn firmly grabbed it by the left post. George Halliday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luke Lockwood kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
