Felix McCartney's late challenge caught a Bigadic SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix McCartney hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Middlesbrough Ironopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Nuri Oyanalp came free, but Tyrone Hartshorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Stan Myers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Middlesbrough Ironopolis and the Bigadic SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Middlesbrough Ironopolis getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Stan Myers hit a great ball. When Atilla Bumin Kayacan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bigadic SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilla Bumin Kayacan couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Kris Stubbs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gencay Süleyman struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tyrone Hartshorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bigadic SK. Kamuran Sungur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Halliday, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ege Ahsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bigadic SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Middlesbrough Ironopolis the free kick. A collision led to Bigadic SK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ahmet Ege Ahsen hit a great ball. Casey Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamuran Sungur having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Casey Oliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamuran Sungur was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Middlesbrough Ironopolis got a freekick which was hit by Stan Myers. Bigadic SK's Nuri Oyanalp got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gencay Süleyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tyrone Hartshorn made a huge save. The supporters of Bigadic SK booed when Middlesbrough Ironopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Stubbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes, Nuri Oyanalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bigadic SK and the Middlesbrough Ironopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. George Halliday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamuran Sungur having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Halliday in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamuran Sungur saved Bigadic SK from getting behind. If Nuri Oyanalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix McCartney got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Felix McCartney kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Halliday stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İsmail Çelen during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. İsmail Çelen hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. George Halliday who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Kamuran Sungur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kamuran Sungur made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Halliday in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute of the match Atilla Bumin Kayacan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tyrone Hartshorn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Çakır Cebe kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Stan Myers got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The Bigadic SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Middlesbrough Ironopolis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
