With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karol Sidorowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolphe Boisard struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Karol Sidorowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Lyonnais. Karol Sidorowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Émilien Reboux's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Jarosiewicz in the 21st minute of play forced Olympique Lyonnais's goalkeeper Erwan Vetter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Olympique Lyonnais getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Émilien Reboux hit a great ball. When Michel Houpert fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Lyonnais's protests and gave Michel Houpert a yellow card for diving instead. Émilien Reboux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wysoki Zamek's Karol Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Laumond in the 56th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Olympique Lyonnais's Rodolphe Boisard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karol Sidorowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 82ndth minute of the game Rodolphe Boisard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wysoki Zamek's Karol Sidorowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Rodolphe Boisard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karol Sidorowicz was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
