The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fitz Donnelly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabricio Arieta went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vera Andino in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fitz Donnelly saved Athletic Club London FC from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Nigel Boyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fitz Donnelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vera Andino in the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Coconuts FC's Arévalo Castorena got a free kick in the 20th minute. Damon Sheldon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Iglesia having to interfere. The supporters of Athletic Club London FC booed when Coconuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Alberto Carrizo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fitz Donnelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Arieta in the 27th minute of the match. Coconuts FC were furious when Pedro Hudobro was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Pedro Hudobro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hector-Luis Iglesia made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Orson Bryant sent off a good shot on target. After 33 minutes of play, Coconuts FC's Fabricio Arieta made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fitz Donnelly was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Athletic Club London FC's zone, Oso Pimentel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fitz Donnelly came out of the goal and Oso Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Arieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fitz Donnelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luke Lockwood during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Luke Lockwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Arieta in the 44th minute of play forced Athletic Club London FC's goalkeeper Fitz Donnelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Coconuts FC's Fabricio Arieta in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Fabricio Arieta made the kick off in the second half. If Fabricio Arieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Luke Lockwood made a precise shot to the right of Hector-Luis Iglesia. Coconuts FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 58 minutes into the match, Marty Grigg notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Coconuts FC's Hector-Luis Iglesia. Hector-Luis Iglesia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dani Pinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fitz Donnelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luke Lockwood kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Coconuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos-Alberto Carrizo. In the 64th minute, Damon Sheldon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Athletic Club London FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. In the 79th minute Fabricio Arieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fitz Donnelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Coconuts FC's Fabricio Arieta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fitz Donnelly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. In the 85th minute, Fabricio Arieta made a precise shot to the right of Fitz Donnelly. Athletic Club London FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-7. Fabricio Arieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Arieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fitz Donnelly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Damon Sheldon's late challenge caught a Coconuts FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damon Sheldon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Athletic Club London FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Damon Sheldon hit a great ball. When the match was over Coconuts FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Athletic Club London FC throughout the match.
