The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Balaban Cansoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devon Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Emir Ayvazoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fitz Donnelly having to make a save. Ahmet Emir Ayvazoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fitz Donnelly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marty Grigg got free with Balaban Cansoy in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute Devon Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balaban Cansoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karahalli's Balaban Cansoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devon Potter in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Nigel Boyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balaban Cansoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balaban Cansoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devon Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karahalli's Balaban Cansoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Karahalli from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Karahalli getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Affan Cenap hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Karahalli's Affan Cenap got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Balaban Cansoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Lockwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nigel Boyes came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Athletic Club London FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nigel Boyes couldn't finish the play. Onuralp İlkutay charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Onuralp İlkutay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Onuralp İlkutay hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Damon Sheldon took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Balaban Cansoy. Balaban Cansoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Balaban Cansoy came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Athletic Club London FC's Nigel Boyes. But to his dismay, Nigel Boyes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Athletic Club London FC's Devon Potter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Balaban Cansoy. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ahmet Emir Ayvazoğlu made the kick off in the second half. Martin Hilton made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luke Lockwood. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Devon Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athletic Club London FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Devon Potter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balaban Cansoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Karahalli's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Boyes came free, but Balaban Cansoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karahalli's Rıza Ünlüsoy got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Damon Sheldon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Balaban Cansoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Luke Lockwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nicholas Langdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balaban Cansoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devon Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Karahalli's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Sheldon came free, but Balaban Cansoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Athletic Club London FC's Luke Lockwood made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Balaban Cansoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the game, Athletic Club London FC's Damon Sheldon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Balaban Cansoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Ahmet Emir Ayvazoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devon Potter in the 91st minute of play forced Karahalli's goalkeeper Balaban Cansoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balaban Cansoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nigel Boyes in the 94th minute of play. Martin Hilton hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Athletic Club London FC were the better team. Athletic Club London FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
