Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when George Halliday took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aysan Osman to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Felix McCartney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kris Stubbs fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Middlesbrough Ironopolis's protests and gave Kris Stubbs a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Engin Nurkan in the 8th minute of play forced Middlesbrough Ironopolis's goalkeeper Tyrone Hartshorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. From close distance George Halliday pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 10 minutes into the game. In the 13th minute, Casey Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sungurhan Kayrahan took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tyrone Hartshorn. Tyrone Hartshorn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Engin Nurkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Hartshorn having to interfere. George Halliday's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batuğ Taşkesen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Engin Nurkan in the 27th minute of play forced Middlesbrough Ironopolis's goalkeeper Tyrone Hartshorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batuğ Taşkesen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Casey Oliver showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barlas Göçer in the 33rd minute of play forced Middlesbrough Ironopolis's goalkeeper Tyrone Hartshorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix McCartney charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix McCartney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Casey Oliver fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Batuğ Taşkesen, passed just outside the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

If George Halliday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Halliday missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 58 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Batuğ Taşkesen right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when George Halliday came free, but Batuğ Taşkesen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Middlesbrough Ironopolis's Tyrone Hartshorn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Middlesbrough Ironopolis from getting a goal against them. Batuğ Taşkesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Halliday in the 65th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Engin Nurkan took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Tyrone Hartshorn to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute Engin Nurkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrone Hartshorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Halliday in the 72nd minute of play forced Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Batuğ Taşkesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Lenny Carr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Middlesbrough Ironopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenny Carr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batuğ Taşkesen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Middlesbrough Ironopolis's George Halliday got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Halliday in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batuğ Taşkesen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casey Oliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Middlesbrough Ironopolis's George Halliday in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beşiktaş's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the game, Middlesbrough Ironopolis's George Halliday nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batuğ Taşkesen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. George Halliday's late challenge caught a Beşiktaş's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Halliday helped the player get up and apologised. George Halliday kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Barlas Göçer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Tyrone Hartshorn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tyrone Hartshorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Engin Nurkan in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Felix McCartney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batuğ Taşkesen was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. Middlesbrough Ironopolis walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
