With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Berdaitz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Mendiko saved ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ from getting behind. Héctor Mainer might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Héctor Mainer ran back to his position shaking his head. Melquiades Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Mainer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Jacobo Mendiko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the MORPH defense, Héctor Mainer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Mambru. The MORPH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Mambru should have stopped the shot. After 15 played minutes ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a freekick which was hit by Donato Luar. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Anastasio Lluques with Emiliano Berdaitz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jacobo Mendiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lu Zhi Lin in the 21st minute. Jacobo Mendiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carel Rokeloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, MORPH's Lu Zhi Lin got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Héctor Mainer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The MORPH fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when MORPH's Emiliano Berdaitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carel Rokeloos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jacobo Mendiko made a huge save. When Héctor Mainer came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Héctor Mainer couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor Mainer in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carel Rokeloos to make the kick off. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Jacobo Mendiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Zhi Lin in the 53rd minute of play. Eustacio Etxepare made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emiliano Berdaitz immediately put the ball in play. Jacobo Mendiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Mambru made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Héctor Mainer sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 65 minutes, Héctor Mainer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Héctor Mainer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Franco Milazzo was substituted for Héctor Mainer. MORPH were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anastasio Lluques took the corner. After taking down the ball on MORPH's corner Zeledon Dorio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Mendiko quite easily take care of the ball. Melquiades Mambru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franco Milazzo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Sayveon in the 77th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Franco Milazzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Paulo Eguen scored 2-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Mendiko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Paulo Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Jacobo Mendiko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th match minute, MORPH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lilo Ramírez to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
