It was a well-played corner which Nestor Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simbo FC's Boleslaw Sidorowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deyan Iordănescu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the La Gallardeta defense, Romain Berrewouts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belchior Saldanha. The La Gallardeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belchior Saldanha should have stopped the shot. When Romain Berrewouts came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Simbo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romain Berrewouts couldn't finish the play. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Berrewouts in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Sidorowicz came free, but Belchior Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Sidorowicz in the 34th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Weber didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save La Gallardeta from getting a goal against them. In the 54thth minute of the game Romain Berrewouts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 55 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Ostrowski. After a rather tough play, Simbo FC's Piotr Ostrowski got a free kick in the 56th minute. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Tincho Palermo made a precise shot to the right of Belchior Saldanha. La Gallardeta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 82nd minute Wilfred Vrede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Wilfred Vrede cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mías Khalifa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gartzi came free, but Mías Khalifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tincho Palermo in the 88th minute of play.
