In the 84th minute Franco Milazzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Alijilán returns's Jacobo Mendiko threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radu Fetea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacobo Mendiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Co Bayo in the 88th minute. Jacobo Mendiko was a little too slow when Co Bayo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-3. The Alijilán returns supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alijilán returns would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
