In the 6th minute, Los Delfines's Arquímedes Cesario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Mambru. Melquiades Mambru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Arquímedes Cesario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Mambru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Carel Rokeloos came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Mambru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Quinten's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Carel Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Quinten in the 15th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Quinten in the 16th minute of play. Melquiades Mambru made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Arquímedes Cesario sent off a good shot on target. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carel Rokeloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Goyo to maneuver through the defense. When Emiliano Berdaitz got free in front of the goal in the 25th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Matías Patrone was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Atilano Quinten made the kick off in the second half. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Bin Yuan in the 57th minute of play. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Delfines's Lu Bin Yuan. But to his dismay, Lu Bin Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eguen in the 73rd minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Lano kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Los Delfines made a substitution. Oran Gutti replaced Lu Bin Yuan. Los Delfines's Hector Abadia was substituted for Atilano Quinten. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when MORPH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Anastasio Lluques in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Delfines's Hector Abadia. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Orzaize in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Oliver Bierhoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Delfines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
