Linus Fredrikssons short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Belchior Saldanha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha got control of the ball when Linus Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Fermin Arixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Rana to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belchior Saldanha saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marlin FC reached it. 93 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gartzi came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marlin FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
