Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes of play, Alijilán returns's Wang Cheng Xiang made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Carlos Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alijilán returns's Victor Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Cachorro in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Alijilán returns's Victor Erauso got control of the ball when Dionisio Panpili tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Cheng Xiang in the 22nd minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Erauso stood somewhat misplaced when Giovanni Rana came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 26 minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Cheng Xiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Cachorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Victor Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 40th minute of play. Dionisio Panpili spun around in front of the goal 41 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Alijilán returns's goal. After 42 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Rocha. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wang Cheng Xiang made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Fetea to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Dionisio Panpili made a precise shot to the right of Victor Erauso. Alijilán returns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fernando Ciano made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alijilán returns's Cipriano Tavio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Cheng Xiang in the 61st minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 63rd minute of the match. Marlin FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Alijilán returns's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismael Iglesias took the corner. Alijilán returns's Sly Noble was substituted for Kieth Van Damme. Co Bayo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Oidor. Juan Carlos Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wang Cheng Xiang in the 84th minute. With his leg Juan Carlos Alvarez managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Alijilán returns's Wang Cheng Xiang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Despite being the better team, Marlin FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
