Aybek Orcun took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matías Patrone. Matías Patrone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arquímedes Cesario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arquímedes Cesario in the 36th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Dionisio Panpili notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Los Delfines's Matías Patrone. Matías Patrone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Los Delfines's Arquímedes Cesario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Carlos Alvarez. Juan Carlos Alvarez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Linus Fredriksson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilano Quinten to make the kick off. Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka was substituted for Arquímedes Cesario. Giovanni Rana hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Oscar Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Zachary Pliszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
