Lluis Companys didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Girotti came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Girotti in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to KaoS Futbol Club getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alejandro Lamberto hit a great ball. Igor Lebas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Basajaun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Lluis Companys took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Armando Basajaun to make any attempt to save it. After 37 played minutes KaoS Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Chus. 40 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Evaristo Errando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierluigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Basajaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Lebas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Armando Basajaun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Lebas to strike the kick off in the second half. Trevor Bibby hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. KaoS Futbol Club's attentive Romano Cocolina managed to snatch the ball when Ciriaco Lore made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. In the 70th match minute, KaoS Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Chus to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabricio Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pierluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabricio Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
