The audience was convinced that Federico Girotti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juaneizu Merida was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 21st match minute, Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Du Hong Hui to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Basajaun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nacional were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xu Sha took the corner. Nacional's Joseph Gayoso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armando Basajaun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nacional's Xu Sha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Du Hong Hui, made in the 26th minute of the game. Juaneizu Merida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Girotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Basajaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grabiel Escorcia's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Camilo Candido kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Girotti in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xu Sha during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nacional's Xu Sha got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grabiel Escorcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Girotti in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 53rd minute of play forced Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Luis Rodríguez to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Escorcia in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Basajaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nacional were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xu Sha took the corner. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Fabricio Miro was substituted for Federico Girotti. Grabiel Escorcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Basajaun having to interfere. Juaneizu Merida was a little too slow when Fabricio Miro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-3. Nacional's Ursino Brunet was substituted for Grabiel Escorcia. After having played for 84 minutes, David Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but David Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ursino Brunet came free, but Armando Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Isias's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Isias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, German Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Cartero de Agronomia F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nacional throughout the match.
