DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Leandro Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Basualdo in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cris Ronaldo in the 21st minute of play forced DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goalkeeper Leandro Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Söderkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Olof Söderkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Chivu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, one of DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25. Leandro Macario had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Bartolo Basualdo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Favoretto came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Olof Söderkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermann Hesse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Leandro Macario came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo. But to his dismay, Bartolo Basualdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 48 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felippe Favoretto. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Söderkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Söderkvist in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Bartolo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Macario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Macario was a little too slow when Bartolo Basualdo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-2. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa was substituted for Bartolo Basualdo. In the 64th minute Felippe Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goal looked a bit too open when Erruki Velarroa came free, but Leandro Macario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Victor Eliu was substituted for Olof Söderkvist. Leandro Macario made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Erruki Velarroa sent off a good shot on target. In the 81stth minute of the game Victor Eliu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Felippe Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 got a corner. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jony Maidana ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Erruki Velarroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Macario was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
