Thanks to some nice moves Milosz Majczyk could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Dani Vassaras however easily saved by the left post. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by La France FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Vidal was slow to take the kick. During this time Altos Gatos FC's players had a chance to rest. 30 minutes into the match, Altos Gatos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Vittorio came free, but Christian Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Corderun in the 32nd minute of play forced La France FC's goalkeeper Dani Vassaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dani Vassaras having to interfere. If Borys Moizuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dani Vassaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
