Edelmiro Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Jian Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edelmiro Haimar. Edelmiro Haimar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Hartz got free with Edelmiro Haimar in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Everardo Hartz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Jian Tian in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Haimar saved Urko FC from getting behind. In the 29thth minute of the game Yu Jian Tian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urko FC's Edelmiro Haimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Urko FC's Edelmiro Haimar got control of the ball when Wen Hai Le tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Lucio Ermano in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Wen Hai Le. When Lucio Ermano fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urko FC's protests and gave Lucio Ermano a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Edelmiro Haimar threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yu Jian Tian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 39th minute of the match ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ got a corner. Urko FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Danilo Gerber ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Urko FC's Esteve Toro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Edelmiro Haimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Jian Tian's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Rito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Jian Tian in the 52nd minute of the match. When ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 60 minutes, Astor Ieltxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urko FC and the ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Astor Ieltxu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ made a substitution. Teofilo Galtero replaced Danilo Gerber. The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when Urko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Ieltxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Haimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Urko FC defense, José Sand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Haimar. The Urko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Haimar should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sand in the 95th minute of play forced Urko FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
