Emmanuel Canturri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhu Bin Xi in the 3rd minute. The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermengol Alberete in the 5th minute of play. After 7 minutes The Valar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fehmi Erdemer who took care of the corner kick. Sindo Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ozon in the 11th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, The Valar's goal looked a bit too open when Ermengol Alberete came free, but Emmanuel Canturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Ermengol Alberete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Socavon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fehmi Erdemer in the 20th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of The Valar's goalie and right to Zhu Bin Xi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The Valar's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri got control of the ball when Zhu Bin Xi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's Ermengol Alberete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emmanuel Canturri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emmanuel Canturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermengol Alberete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Cristian Ozon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Socavon FC's Sindo Porregimon. Sindo Porregimon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sindo Porregimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Manwë Vala made the kick off in the second half. When Ermengol Alberete came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Socavon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermengol Alberete couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Ermengol Alberete left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Socavon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Emmanuel Canturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermengol Alberete in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th match minute, The Valar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Otopeanu to maneuver through the defense. Socavon FC's Manilan Elizalde was substituted for Wiktor Dobilas. The Valar made a substitution. Aulë Vala replaced Manwë Vala. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Marian Otopeanu hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Socavon FC got a corner. The Valar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fehmi Erdemer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Maciek Cash heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Emmanuel Canturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Intxixu Huarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes of play, Socavon FC's Intxixu Huarte made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emmanuel Canturri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciek Cash in the 87th minute of play. The Valar's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Socavon FC had won, even though The Valar had held more of the ball.
