After a rather tough play, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's Skeiron Dimakakos got a free kick in the 8th minute. Deukalion Pappayiorgas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Lingren went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Deukalion Pappayiorgas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Lorien in the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Wennersten came free, but Deukalion Pappayiorgas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deukalion Pappayiorgas came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Calle's Alexander Lingren. But to his dismay, Alexander Lingren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Real Calle booed when Anorthosis Famagusta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esmerling Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Caldeira in the 28th minute of play forced Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goalkeeper Deukalion Pappayiorgas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deukalion Pappayiorgas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Caldeira's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Wennersten came free, but Deukalion Pappayiorgas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Anorthosis Famagusta FC defense, Haroldo Lorien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deukalion Pappayiorgas. The Anorthosis Famagusta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deukalion Pappayiorgas should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute Haroldo Lorien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deukalion Pappayiorgas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Carlos Caldeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deukalion Pappayiorgas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Haroldo Lorien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Calle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Haroldo Lorien scored 0-5 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deukalion Pappayiorgas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Kostas Kouros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deukalion Pappayiorgas came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Calle's Haroldo Lorien. But to his dismay, Haroldo Lorien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Real Calle booed when Anorthosis Famagusta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tantalos Vassilopulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deukalion Pappayiorgas came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Calle's Alexander Lingren. But to his dismay, Alexander Lingren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Carlos Caldeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deukalion Pappayiorgas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Caldeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Real Calle's Dolfo Olmos was substituted for Timmy Krusfeldt. In the 80th minute Haroldo Lorien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deukalion Pappayiorgas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anorthosis Famagusta FC's Deukalion Pappayiorgas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Anorthosis Famagusta FC from getting a goal against them. Tim Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esmerling Luque in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Lorien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deukalion Pappayiorgas was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Calle's Haroldo Lorien slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Deukalion Pappayiorgas. That made the score 0-9 after 86 minutes of play. Deukalion Pappayiorgas was a little too slow when Haroldo Lorien got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-10. 94 minutes into the game, Kostas Kouros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anorthosis Famagusta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Calle the free kick. A collision led to Anorthosis Famagusta FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Kostas Kouros hit a great ball.
