Cengizhan Soyurgal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper Ter Stefanek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camerino Luey. If Stamen Tekeliev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modris Pavējš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ter Stefanek made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Stamen Tekeliev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Pesquera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 38th minute Camerino Luey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stefanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Dragón F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Perojo in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Hilario Pesquera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes, Cengizhan Soyurgal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS and the Golden Dragón F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ter Stefanek had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Modris Pavējš's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 49th play minute Modris Pavējš came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ter Stefanek. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camerino Luey in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ter Stefanek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Fiz in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Dario Betzanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stefanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Aureliusz Vaabengaard hit a great ball. Golden Dragón F.C's Selim Mićić was substituted for Modris Pavējš. The supporters of CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
