Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavies Muñagorri started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Radu Barbălată, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radu Barbălată took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavies Muñagorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mac Mon in the 5th minute of play. Lasse Kroner made a great header on FC Bruges's corner, it was just that Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată got control of the ball when Mac Mon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radu Barbălată stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavies Muñagorri's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Radu Barbălată made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Xavies Muñagorri sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavies Muñagorri got free with Radu Barbălată in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Panciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Panciu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luc Van Hinnendael saved FC Bruges from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Miulescu in the 21st minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Xavies Muñagorri made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Miulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alexandria Team08's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lasse Kroner was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Bruges's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Lasse Kroner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radu Barbălată quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 37 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Radu Barbălată reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Barbălată made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mac Mon in the 44th minute of play. If Péter Bánhegyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manole Miulescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavies Muñagorri in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Luc Van Hinnendael managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Alexandria Team08's Manole Miulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luc Van Hinnendael stood somewhat misplaced when Manole Miulescu came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 57 minute. 61 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Péter Bánhegyi came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manole Miulescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Manole Miulescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Luc Van Hinnendael to make any attempt to save it. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Aykut Aşkın replaced Péter Bánhegyi. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Doctor Mugg replaced Manole Miulescu. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhou got free with Luc Van Hinnendael in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's Zhou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luc Van Hinnendael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Kılıç Özyuva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael did a great save. When Zhou came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Alexandria Team08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhou couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael got control of the ball when Doctor Mugg tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Bruges getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Shane Corrigan hit a great ball. Doctor Mugg took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luc Van Hinnendael. Luc Van Hinnendael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 93rd play minute Doctor Mugg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luc Van Hinnendael. 2-5. When the final whistle sounded Alexandria Team08 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Bruges.
