The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurek Ohrem in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Éthan Pichard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabulón Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zabulón Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurek Ohrem, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nordine Ighil in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Klavertje Vier's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jurek Ohrem was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Bad Harzburg's players had a chance to rest. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SV Bad Harzburg from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabulón Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zabulón Carabajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurek Ohrem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch got control of the ball when Celedonio Kemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Lars Lecointre. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jurek Ohrem managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurek Ohrem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zabulón Carabajal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half SV Bad Harzburg were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Bento to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toralf Hell to maneuver through the defense. Georges-Philippe Jooris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacek Matuch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Éthan Pichards short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Zabulón Carabajal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute Joery Hylen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braulio Bento took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacek Matuch. Jacek Matuch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joos Horemans in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Bento came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lelo Orihuela hit a great ball. Zabulón Carabajal made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Éthan Pichard sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes in the game, Éthan Pichard dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Bartoli in the 80th minute of the match. Zabulón Carabajal came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bad Harzburg's Jurek Ohrem. But to his dismay, Jurek Ohrem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 87th minute, Toralf Hell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zabulón Carabajal. The goal made the score 2-3. Zabulón Carabajal made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Derek Henderson sent off a good shot on target. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Klavertje Vier from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Lelo Orihuela. The FC Klavertje Vier fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SV Bad Harzburg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
