An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Herinckx in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Lauwers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavies Muñagorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mitch Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mac Mon in the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Minion Mim defense, Mac Mon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mitch Lauwers. The Minion Mim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mitch Lauwers should have stopped the shot. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Ernst Herinckx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luc Van Hinnendael. Ernst Herinckx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Mitch Lauwers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mac Mon's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match FC Bruges got a corner. Minion Mim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lasse Kroner ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mitch Lauwers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mac Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match FC Bruges got a corner. Minion Mim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led FC Bruges's Bernardo Urtzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Mitch Lauwers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavies Muñagorri in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mitch Lauwers saved Minion Mim from getting behind. Mitch Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavies Muñagorri in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Minion Mim's Mitch Lauwers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Minion Mim from getting a goal against them. Jasper Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Bruges's Mitch Lauwers threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mac Mon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xavies Muñagorri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Mitch Lauwers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luc Van Hinnendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Herinckx in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ernst Herinckx notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael. Luc Van Hinnendael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Herinckx in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Mac Mon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bruges fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Mitch Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mac Mon in the 69th minute of the match. Mac Mon took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mitch Lauwers. In the 82nd match minute, Minion Mim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthías Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Mitch Lauwers acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lasse Kroner. The audience was convinced that Mac Mon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mitch Lauwers was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Herinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Bruges supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bruges would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
