Taco Uebels was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Benefica's Burak Başaran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Radu Barbălată. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. After 20 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Kılıç Özyuva. Radu Barbălată was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Humberto Jonge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Miulescu in the 22nd minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Taco Uebels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Manole Miulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Uebels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taco Uebels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Panciu in the 25th minute of play. When Alexandria Team08's Manole Miulescu in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Fc Benefica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel Huiting didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Péter Bánhegyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Uebels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manole Miulescu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Mehmet Çağrı Coşan got a free kick in the 51st minute. Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Benefica from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandria Team08's zone, Burak Başaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Barbălată came out of the goal and Burak Başaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels got control of the ball when Marin Dică tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taco Uebels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Miulescu in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jedrzej Sanocki to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Çağrı Coşan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radu Barbălată showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burak Başaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Zhou came free, but Taco Uebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taco Uebels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doctor Mugg's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Zhou's late challenge caught a Fc Benefica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zhou helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zhou hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Gilmar Maranhense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radu Barbălată skillfully saved the ball. Taco Uebels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doctor Mugg in the 78th minute. Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burak Başaran in the 81st minute of play. Taco Uebels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doctor Mugg, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's Zhou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taco Uebels narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
