The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Roofhoof, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Tailleur in the 5th minute of play. Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Roofhoof, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Minion Mim getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rudy Audenaert hit a great ball. Laurence Soens kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Radzyminski in the 27th minute of play forced Minion Mim's goalkeeper Mitch Lauwers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 32nd minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benjamin Carberry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mitch Lauwers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 34th minute of play. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Roofhoof, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 43 minutes on the clock, Fryderyk Mondrowski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Jasper Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waud De Geyter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jasper Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. Damazy Radzyminski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Lauwers having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Minion Mim's zone, Damazy Radzyminski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Lauwers came out of the goal and Damazy Radzyminski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Minion Mim getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Louis Tailleur hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Radzyminski came free, but Mitch Lauwers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitch Lauwers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Peter Roofhoof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Geyter having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Minion Mim's Joonatan Van Landewijck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 76 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joonatan Van Landewijck came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitch Lauwers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski in the 77th minute of play. Silver Squad AFC's Frans Van Caubergen got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Damazy Radzyminski came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Silver Squad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Radzyminski couldn't finish the play. Damazy Radzyminski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mitch Lauwers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Peter Roofhoof notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Minion Mim walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
