Taco Uebels was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loris Groß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Taco Uebels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taco Uebels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loris Groß in the 16th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Çağrı Coşan to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Fc Schönhagen's goal looked a bit too open when Burak Başaran came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loris Groß in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taco Uebels saved Fc Benefica from getting behind. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Çağrı Coşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taco Uebels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loris Groß, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Mehmet Çağrı Coşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taco Uebels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loris Groß in the 69th minute of the match. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burak Başaran in the 85th minute of play. The Fc Schönhagen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fc Schönhagen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
