Jacob Vrancx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavies Muñagorri in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes of play, Pezerik's Octavian Rutgeerts made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luc Van Hinnendael was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute of the match, Guillaume Van Bever got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luc Van Hinnendael was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Pezerik getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Guillaume Van Bever hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Pezerik's goal looked a bit too open when Xavies Muñagorri came free, but Jacob Vrancx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Vrancx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavies Muñagorri in the 21st minute of the match. Jacob Vrancx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mac Mon in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Shane Corrigan made a precise shot to the right of Jacob Vrancx. Pezerik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Rutgeerts in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to FC Bruges getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Shane Corrigan hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Vanderhaege to make the kick off. Pezerik's Jacob Vrancx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mac Mon in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Octavian Rutgeerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luc Van Hinnendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of FC Bruges:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pezerik:s goal. After 65 minutes FC Bruges's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jelle Temmerman who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Pezerik's Henri-Xavier Pauwels got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Carl Van Kamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jacob Vrancx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the match, Pezerik's goalkeeper Jacob Vrancx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shane Corrigan. After a rather tough play, Pezerik's Apostolis Lagidis got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jacob Vrancx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavies Muñagorri in the 81st minute. 87 minutes into the match, Mac Mon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacob Vrancx. Pezerik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mac Mon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 93rd minute, Xavies Muñagorri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacob Vrancx. The goal made the score 1-4. The Pezerik supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Bruges's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Bruges.
