The audience held their breath when Gaitan Casado in the 6th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Andoni Zubizarreta's left hand side. In the 11th minute Marcell Pécsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos FC's Benedicto Gustau got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Marcell Pécsi came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Quebrachitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcell Pécsi couldn't finish the play. Maurício Pellegrino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Andoni Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcell Pécsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Gougeon in the 23rd minute of the match. Andoni Zubizarreta made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Aníbal Barca sent off a good shot on target. Marcell Pécsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oscar Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Mista, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Marcell Pécsi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andoni Zubizarreta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Florentin Gougeon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcell Pécsi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play.

The wind increased when Aníbal Barca made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Gustau. Javi Guerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Ekhi. Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Gustau in the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Marcell Pécsi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta. Andoni Zubizarreta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quebrachitos FC's Kevin Durant got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andoni Zubizarreta came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Quebrachitos FC's Marcell Pécsi. But to his dismay, Marcell Pécsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Barca in the 79th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Logan got free with Oscar Ekhi in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Jonny Logan sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Florentin Gougeon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Ekhi was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Marcell Pécsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Quebrachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitan Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcell Pécsi came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Quebrachitos FC booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Marchena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Gougeon in the 96th minute of the match.

There was no doubt that Quebrachitos FC were the better team. Quebrachitos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
