Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Norbert Major made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Şota Arveladze came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Ostrowski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şota Arveladze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tirso Isasaga in the 12th minute of play. Tanek Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Major, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Şota Arveladze made a precise shot to the right of Sebastião Xoxe. Pogoń Szczecin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Domeracki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Major took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanek Ostrowski. Tanek Ostrowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Tirso Isasaga came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match, Norbert Major got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tanek Ostrowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pogoń Szczecin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrado Donzel in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Stefanopoulos. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Domeracki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanek Ostrowski was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Norbert Major capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Norbert Major really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Czeslaw Domeracki made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Tirso Isasaga came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Ostrowski came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major. But to his dismay, Norbert Major quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When Czeslaw Domeracki in the 62nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Sebastião Xoxe kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 4-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a rather tough play, Olympique Gdynia's Tirso Isasaga got a free kick in the 64th minute. Pogoń Szczecin made a substitution. Dariusz Harbaszewski replaced Jurand Debowski. In the 70th minute Olympique Gdynia were awarded a corner. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta went to the cornerflag to take it. Olympique Gdynia's Fabio-Roman Zabaleta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastião Xoxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe got control of the ball when Şota Arveladze tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Czeslaw Domeracki fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Darko Pančev might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanek Ostrowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darko Pančev ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Norbert Major had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tanek Ostrowski. Olympique Gdynia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norbert Major was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. The supporters of Pogoń Szczecin booed when Olympique Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Imbor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Norbert Major came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pogoń Szczecin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Major couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şota Arveladze in the 89th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the game Bogdan Imbor made a throw-in which Jurand Frankowski played forward. Pogoń Szczecin were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Olympique Gdynia for a fine match.
