Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Shi Feng in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Navigators's goal looked a bit too open when Dong Xi Jun came free, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yu Ke Hui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wasyl Modrzewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Navigators's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hakan Işık in the 39th minute. Güralp Okanay made a great header on Navigators's corner, it was just that Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski managed to reach the ball for a save. 41 minutes into the game, Pirates of Black Sea's Dong Xi Jun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cai Shi Feng made a kick off. Wasyl Modrzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Shi Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Wasyl Modrzewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Yu Ke Hui slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 80th minute. Pirates of Black Sea made a substitution. Chris-George Chevalier replaced Dong Xi Jun. In the 86th minute of the match Ahmet Rıfat Reşat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu skillfully saved the ball. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris-George Chevalier, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Dowrick in the 119th minute of play forced Navigators's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Akbatu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 120 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Özbek Tokur came free, but Wasyl Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pirates of Black Sea:s Yavuz Bülent Akbatu showed great skill when he stopped Hakan Işık:s penalty. When the match had been going on for 140 minutes, Pirates of Black Sea's Ahmet Rıfat Reşat got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yavuz Bülent Akbatu. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu had in the 141stth minute some difficulties stopping Cai Shi Feng's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee gave Pirates of Black Sea a penalty, 146 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahmet Nafiz Bilgehan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu. 4-3. In the 147th minute there was a penalty for Navigators. Anıl Mücahit Seferoğlulları stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wasyl Modrzewski. 4-4. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu had in the 149thth minute some difficulties stopping Taribo West's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Taribo West shot a long shot in the 149th minute and a light blocked Yavuz Bülent Akbatu hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 5-4. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu had in the 150thth minute some difficulties stopping Özbek Tokur's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Demiralp Hekimbaşı's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Yavuz Bülent Akbatu - 6-5 was put on the score board in the 154th minute. When the match had been going on for 156 minutes, Navigators's Mustafa Oğuz Sıratullah got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wasyl Modrzewski. In the 158th minute there was a penalty for Navigators. İlker Uğurhan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wasyl Modrzewski. 6-7. Navigators played a much better game than Pirates of Black Sea and deserved their victory. The Pirates of Black Sea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
