The Oliverio Kahn was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Romo came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliverio Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roque Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Lanzenkirchen's Nicolai Nowak got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Saturnino Romo sped through Lanzenkirchen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Åke Brummer. If Patrick Braaby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Romo in the 38th minute of play. Karl-Åke Brummer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Romo went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Patrick Braaby tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oliverio Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Saturnino Romo scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Åke Brummer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saturnino Romo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Åke Brummer having to make a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Åke Brummer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Marchefka in the 72nd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Claus. Roland Freytag hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Jerzy Marchefka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Åke Brummer was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0.
