Jamal Weatherhead was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Mikel Cardeñosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mikel Cardeñosa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. FC Partizan Minsk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Quirce Bodelon scored to the left of an out of position Jamal Weatherhead, making the score, 2-1. Natalio Pedrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd play minute Quirce Bodelon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jamal Weatherhead. 3-1. When Mikel Cardeñosa came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Samir de los Caños fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikel Cardeñosa couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Jonathon Long notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Samir de los Caños's Micael Paredes. Micael Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Jonathon Long hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samir de los Caños's Micael Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathon Long in the 40th minute of play. Micael Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Chegwyn in the 42nd minute of the match. Guillen Quintero lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After having played for 45 minutes, Peter Chipperfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Partizan Minsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Chipperfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iratze Riba hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Peter Chipperfield struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Micael Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Partizan Minsk. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Samir de los Caños's Micael Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Chegwyn in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Mikel Cardeñosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Samir de los Caños's Natalio Pedrosa made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jamal Weatherhead was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Rowan Bacon got free with Micael Paredes in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Micael Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathon Long, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Samir de los Caños made a substitution. Falo Navarro replaced Xavian Naranjo. If Jonathon Long had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Partizan Minsk's Jamal Weatherhead played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikel Cardeñosa in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Samir de los Caños's Mikel Cardeñosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Chegwyn in the 96th minute of play forced Samir de los Caños's goalkeeper Micael Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Stefan Chegwyn took a quick shot and it went in 5-3 without a chance for Micael Paredes to make any attempt to save it. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Partizan Minsk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Samir de los Caños.
