Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Drommahane AF's Rannal McTom started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drommahane AF's goalkeeper Bartley Colwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Drumgowan Ut's Herich Sheridan got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Loughlin Grant fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drommahane AF's protests and gave Loughlin Grant a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, one of Drommahane AF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Drommahane AF. In the 17th match minute, Drommahane AF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ailín McStephen to maneuver through the defense. Rannal McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodore Rutherford having to interfere. Bartley Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fionntán Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fionntán Benson in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartley Colwell saved Drommahane AF from getting behind. Fionntán Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley Colwell having to interfere. Ailín McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Rannal McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tadhg Murphy came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Drommahane AF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadhg Murphy couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadhg Murphy in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theodore Rutherford prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

After 56 minutes of play, Drommahane AF's Rannal McTom made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theodore Rutherford was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute Rannal McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rannal McTom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dermot Holt hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Drommahane AF's Ailín McStephen got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Basil Quinnless hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theodore Rutherford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ailín McStephen in the 74th minute of play. Theodore Rutherford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ailín McStephen went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Fionntán Benson came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Drumgowan Ut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fionntán Benson couldn't finish the play. After having played for 85 minutes, Herich Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumgowan Ut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herich Sheridan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Drumgowan Ut's Bartel McStephen got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadhg Murphy in the 93rd minute of play forced Drumgowan Ut's goalkeeper Theodore Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
