Theodore Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Clarke in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Mike Way managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience was convinced that Fionntán Benson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickey Naisbitt was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Keanu Lister got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 41st minute, Keanu Lister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Fionntán Benson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
