After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Neil Brady managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yellow Submarine FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Brady was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Kinic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Wiktor Klucznik came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Vidingsjö MOIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiktor Klucznik couldn't finish the play. Eddie Cadwallader stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiktor Klucznik's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Vidingsjö MOIF's Marcus Granqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eddie Cadwallader in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the last second Igor Kinic throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ronnie Moss in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Yellow Submarine FC's Ronnie Moss, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Yellow Submarine FC. Eddie Cadwallader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Carlsson in the 17th minute of play. Staffan Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eddie Cadwallader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Vidingsjö MOIF's Folke Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Cadwallader narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vidingsjö MOIF's zone, Ronnie Moss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Kinic came out of the goal and Ronnie Moss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Folke Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Vidingsjö MOIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Mikael Petersson charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Petersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Mikael Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yellow Submarine FC's Trey Ingram shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Igor Kinic but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Carlsson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Cadwallader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Marcus Granqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Cadwallader was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Yellow Submarine FC's zone, Wiktor Klucznik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Cadwallader came out of the goal and Wiktor Klucznik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Yellow Submarine FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Todd to maneuver through the defense. After 49 minutes Yellow Submarine FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcus Granqvist who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vidingsjö MOIF's corner Marcus Granqvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eddie Cadwallader quite easily take care of the ball. The Yellow Submarine FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vidingsjö MOIF were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ronnie Moss made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Vidingsjö MOIF's goal looked a bit too open when Rufus Todd came free, but Igor Kinic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Marcus Granqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eddie Cadwallader was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yellow Submarine FC's Eddie Cadwallader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Carlsson in the 61st minute of play. Barney Barfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Kinic having to interfere. Eddie Cadwallader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Staffan Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vidingsjö MOIF made a substitution. Kent Hedlund replaced Mikael Petersson. Vidingsjö MOIF's Tomas Hedström was substituted for Jan-Olof Kleen. 73 minutes into the match, Neil Brady had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Kinic. Vidingsjö MOIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neil Brady was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Igor Kinic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Moss in the 90th minute of play. Wiktor Klucznik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Cadwallader having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Vidingsjö MOIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Klucznik to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Olofsson hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute Trey Ingram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Vidingsjö MOIF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vidingsjö MOIF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
