Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chesney Jobson kicked off to start the match. AFC Ascoli's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Fionntán Benson scored to the left of an out of position Dale Tompkins, making the score, 1-0. When Ailín John fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drumgowan Ut's protests and gave Ailín John a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Drumgowan Ut got a freekick which was hit by Ailín John. Theodore Rutherford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Topham in the 8th minute of play. AFC Ascoli were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Drumgowan Ut's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jo Furlong took the corner. After taking down the ball on AFC Ascoli's corner Jo Furlong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Theodore Rutherford quite easily take care of the ball. Fionntán Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes AFC Ascoli got a freekick which was hit by Jo Furlong. Fionntán Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dale Tompkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradagain Cooney got free with Dale Tompkins in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chesney Jobson in the 40th minute of play forced Drumgowan Ut's goalkeeper Theodore Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fionntán Benson came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Drumgowan Ut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fionntán Benson couldn't finish the play. If Fionntán Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fionntán Benson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chesney Jobson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Theodore Rutherford skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pat Kirby kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Chesney Jobson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theodore Rutherford having to make a save. Dale Tompkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fionntán Benson in the 64th minute of play. Dale Tompkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fionntán Benson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Shawn Crossley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Ascoli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drumgowan Ut the free kick. After a rather tough play, AFC Ascoli's Shawn Crossley got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Basil Quinnless hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristian Topham got free with Theodore Rutherford in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Drumgowan Ut's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jo Furlong was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC Ascoli's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jo Furlong almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Drumgowan Ut's Theodore Rutherford did a great save. Fionntán Benson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Tompkins having to make a save. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drumgowan Ut's goalkeeper Theodore Rutherford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dale Tompkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fionntán Benson in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fionntán Benson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dale Tompkins was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Ascoli's goalkeeper Dale Tompkins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ailín John hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Theodore Rutherford was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jo Furlong. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Ascoli's zone, Blaithmeic McTom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dale Tompkins came out of the goal and Blaithmeic McTom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 93 minutes, Bellaghy Johnson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drumgowan Ut and the AFC Ascoli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bellaghy Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Drumgowan Ut players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
