Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Yellow Submarine FC's Ronnie Moss started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Tadhg Murphy fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 7th minute, Rufus Todd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yellow Submarine FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yellow Submarine FC's Eddie Cadwallader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadhg Murphy in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yellow Submarine FC's zone, Rannal McTom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Cadwallader came out of the goal and Rannal McTom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neil Brady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley Colwell having to interfere. If Rannal McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartley Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufus Todd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Neil Brady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartley Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Neil Brady left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yellow Submarine FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 36 played minutes Yellow Submarine FC got a freekick which was hit by Neil Tuck. In the 38th minute of the match Biddy Ramsey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eddie Cadwallader showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Barney Barfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bartley Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rannal McTom to strike the kick off in the second half. Bartley Colwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Barfield in the 52nd minute of the match. Eddie Cadwallader didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadhg Murphy went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Rannal McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eddie Cadwallader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Neil Brady managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yellow Submarine FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Brady was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Yellow Submarine FC's Neil Tuck got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 69 played minutes Yellow Submarine FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronnie Moss. 70 minutes into the match, Rannal McTom notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Yellow Submarine FC's Eddie Cadwallader. Eddie Cadwallader was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Drommahane AF's Bartley Colwell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Drommahane AF from getting a goal against them. Neil Brady's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bartley Colwell firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tadhg Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rannal McTom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Cadwallader having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Moss in the 91st minute of play forced Drommahane AF's goalkeeper Bartley Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rannal McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Yellow Submarine FC defense, Rannal McTom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddie Cadwallader. The Yellow Submarine FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddie Cadwallader should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yellow Submarine FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Drommahane AF.
