After 4 played minutes Maidstone United AFC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Lindley. Mickey Naisbitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Klucznik, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Mickey Naisbitt came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Vidingsjö MOIF's Wiktor Klucznik. But to his dismay, Wiktor Klucznik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Richard Lindley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Igor Kinic managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Maidstone United AFC's Mike Way fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the game, La Bolas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Maidstone United AFC's Keanu Lister quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keanu Lister during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maidstone United AFC's Keanu Lister got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mickey Naisbitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Josefsson in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Folke Carlsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Maidstone United AFC's Mickey Naisbitt. Mickey Naisbitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Rose charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Rose the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mickey Naisbitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Carlsson in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Wiktor Klucznik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mickey Naisbitt. Maidstone United AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiktor Klucznik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 47 played minutes Vidingsjö MOIF got a freekick which was hit by Folke Carlsson. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Folke Carlsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Maidstone United AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Lloyd to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Granqvist in the 53rd minute of play forced Maidstone United AFC's goalkeeper Mickey Naisbitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Staffan Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Kinic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Way in the 73rd minute of the match. 1-5 became the score in the 74th minute when Staffan Josefsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 78th minute Staffan Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickey Naisbitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Lloyd lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 80th minute, one of Maidstone United AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maidstone United AFC. Igor Kinic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Way, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Igor Kinic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Way in the 89th minute of the match. Wiktor Klucznik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Naisbitt having to interfere. When Tom Westwood fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maidstone United AFC's protests and gave Tom Westwood a yellow card for diving instead. Tom Westwood kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Mickey Naisbitt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiktor Klucznik in the 93rd minute. Igor Kinic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Way in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vidingsjö MOIF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
